In 1987, he auditioned for a band at the oldies live house "Hakata Kentos" and began his career as a professional musician at the age of 19. Since then, he has built a career performing in a variety of genres, including jazz, Latin, and pop, as part of regular bands at dance halls and nightclubs. Currently, he teaches performance as a Yamaha saxophone instructor to a wide range of age groups, while also performing at various events and live shows, mainly in Fukuoka.
